Dewey Willis Helton Jr., age 70, of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, April 22, 2024 at his home.

Dewey was born on May 16, 1953 to the late Dewey Willis Helton Sr. and Oda Virginia Stout Helton in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith. He loved motorcycles, especially Harleys, deer hunting, grilling out with family and friends. He enjoyed shooting guns with his grandsons. He retired from Kingsford after 44 years and was a member of Burnside Masonic Lodge #634. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Oda Helton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Jaime Helton (Grant) of Sequatchie, TN, grandchildren: Tiara Stephens, Isaiah Stephens and Ian Dick; great-grandchild, Zyaire Stephens; life partner of over 17 years, Teri Wesley, stepson, James Lyons (Amanda), stepdaughters: Mary Rose (Larry) and Teresa Rowland all of Somerset, Ky; step-grandchildren: James Lyons, Preston Lyons, Raistlin Rose, Zaiden Rose, Kynaston Rose, Autumn Rowland, Tucker Rowland and Raylan Rowland.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 5pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11am. Burial will follow in Sloans Valley Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Dewey Willis Helton Jr.
