Denzil “Denny” Lee Pitman. Jr., age 51, of Louisville, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Denny was born January 16, 1970 to Denzil Pitman and Priscilla Shirl Pitman in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed riding motorcycles, he was a hard worker, he was a route driver for Dar Ob Inc. He enjoyed being a grandpa, being outdoors and spending time with family.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laura Renee Pitman; son, Justin Pitman; daughter, Dayona Pitman; brother, Junior Wilson and sister, Tammy Phelps. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Falicia Witt (Chris) of Somerset, Ky; Jamie Loveless and Joe Pitman; girlfriend, Regina Parris of Louisville, Ky and her children, Caitie and Jordyn and Caitie’s son, Jace; grandchildren, Pacin, Justin and Jackson; along with a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 12 to 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. with Bro. Rick Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Wesleys Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Denzil Pitman Jr. Memorial Fund.
