David Wayne Sievers

Wednesday, May 13, 2020 – 2:00 P.M.

David Wayne Sievers age 58, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

David was born December 28, 1961 to Robert Sievers and Geraldine Brumley Sievers in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was always happy, loved drinking coca cola, eating three musketeers, watching television, especially “Gunsmoke”. He always lit up when he seen his sister-in-law, Megghan.

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sievers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Geraldine Sievers, brothers, Robert “Tootie” Sievers Jr., Rodney Sievers, sister, Teresa Owens and Debbie Debra Proffitt; godbrother, Asa Simpson, special neighbor, John Perkins; sister in law, Megghan; nieces Destiny Simpson and Lilly. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A special thank you to Dr. Drake.

A drive through visitation will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. A private funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Lowell Gossett officiating.  Due to the COVID-19 guidelines, we ask that everyone stay in their vehicle during the drive through visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the David Wayne Sievers Memorial Fund.
