Darlene Hollon age 58 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Darlene was born October 25, 1960 to the late Raymond Bell and Edith Morrow Bell in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was a member of New Beginnings Worship Center, she enjoyed going to Church, and singing. Darlene had recently attained her minister’s license. She loved spending time with her dog, Gabe.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Aaron Hollon; grandson, Joseph Bell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Josh Hollon of Somerset; daughter, Melissa Wilson (Billy) of Somerset; brothers, Robert Bell (Margie) of Somerset; Raymond Bell (Brenda) of Somerset; sisters, Joyce Hartsock (Gary) of Jackson County, KY; Fay Maynard of Somerset; grandchildren, Brandon Wilson; Benjamin Wilson; honorary grandchildren, Kagan and Raelyn Carrender; and a host of friends and family members.

Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2019 from 12 noon-3 PM in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 3 P.M. with Bro. Richard Ramsey, Sister Sharon Hopson, and Bro. Steve Woods officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Darlene Hollon Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
