Connie Wilson

Connie Wilson, age 71 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away in Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on October 25, 2023.

She was born in Somerset, KY to the late Chester and Amanda Meece on January 21, 1952. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Roger Wilson. Her brothers, Bobby Meece, Billy Meece, sisters, Fannie Wachter, Mary Baldwin and Wilma Jean Meece.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brother, James Meece (Brenda) of Muncie, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

She loved all kinds of crafts, especially hand making cards, crocheting and diamond dotz. She was a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church where she was a secretary. She loved her church family dearly. She used to sing in the church choir. Connie and Roger taught the church youth. She retired from South KY RECC. She was an animal lover, especially her cats.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 10am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12pm with Bro. Terry Harbison officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Connie Wilson
