Cleatus J. Estes

Cleatus J. Estes age 80, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.

Cleatus was born October 26, 1939 to the late Brad Estes and Zella Littrell Estes in Pulaski County, Kentucky.

He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, also attended Duke Memorial for several years, when he was a Deacon he enjoyed visiting people in the hospital along with other Church work. He loved fishing, gardening, watching sports, especially UK Basketball, but most of all cherished spending time with his family.

Cleatus was preceded in death by his parents, Brad and Zella Estes. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 61 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Estes, son, Larry James Estes (Lora) of Richmond, KY, daughter, Annette Faye Starnes (Ronnie) of Somerset, grandchildren, Courtney Woods (Kevin), Logan Starnes, Shaylin Estes, Laura Estes all of Somerset and great-grandchildren, Jolee Woods, Jaxon Woods, Braxton Woods and Kinlee Woods. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 5-8 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Morris officiating, burial will follow at Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
