Christina Dowell, age 34, of Somerset, Ky passed from this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Christina was born on September 16, 1988 to Donald Jones and Donna Gover Jones in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses and spending time with her daughters and family.

Christina leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, Donald and Donna Jones; her husband, William Dowell; daughters, Melia Stevens, Aria Stevens and D Lona Dowell; stepchildren, Devin R. Dowell, Damond E. Dowell, Hanna L. Dowell; brother, Brian Jones of Somerset, Ky and sister, Stephanie Jones also of Somerset, Ky; nephews, Jaydon Washington, William Jones, nieces, Jazlyn Jones, Dezeray Jones, Danielle Jones and great-nephew, Rylo Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Kelbin Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow in the Saline Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christina Dowell Memorial Fund. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Christina Dowell.
