Chester F. Kidd

Chester F. Kidd age 70, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, May 29, 2020 at his home.

Chester was born February 3, 1950 to the late Walter Kidd and Lissie Jones Kidd in Wayne County, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and loved gospel music, listening to preaching, flea marketing, yard selling, and working.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ruth Burdine Kidd, brothers, Hubert, Ozzie Thaniel, Benjamin Harrison, Albert, Hulen, Lushen, Wilburn, James Hartman, Noble Curtis, sisters, Ora, Chloa, Lola, Bonnie Esma, Flonnie.

He is survived by son, Jeffery Wayne Kidd (Phyllis) of Somerset, daughter, Vickie McQueary (Mike) of Somerset, brother, Edgar Kidd (Lois), sister, Lily Surber, grandchildren, Michael Seth McQueary, Grant Kidd, Jessie Lee Kidd, and Trent Kidd. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Dustin York officiating.

Burial will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
