Carolyn Kay Bryant, age 64, of Somerset, Ky passed from this life on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Carolyn was born on December 12, 1958 to the late Millard Caldwell and Hazel Osbourne Caldwell in Beverly, Kentucky.

She attended Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She enjoyed babysitting grandchildren and drinking coffee.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Hazel Caldwell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Roger Bryant, son, Charles Bryant (Miranda), daughter, Crystal Bryant (Shannon Wagner), brother, Alvin Caldwell (Linda) all of Somerset, Ky; sisters, Marilyn Mink (Carl) of Bronston, Ky; Maxine Holland (Jeff) of London, Ky; Melody Joseph (Reed) of Hyden, Ky; Freda Sandlin of Somerset, Ky; Frances Bryant (Johnny) of Winchester, Ky; Edith James (O.C.) of Shelbyville, Ky; Mavis Caldwell (Jeff) of Somerset, Ky; grandchildren, Dakota Peters (McKayla), Shannon Michael Bryant (Victoria), Cayden Wagner, great-granddaughter, Isabella Bryant; best friend, Connie; along with a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 11am-1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Bro. Ryan Osbourne and Bro. Scottie Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Lick Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Peters, David Jones, Tom Berryman, Nathan Ping, Shannon Wagner, Alvin Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Bryant and John Bryant.
