Brian Gibson

Brian Gibson age 50, of Whitley City, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Brian was born May 1, 1970 to Arnold Ray Watson, Virgil Gibson, Jr. and Joann Gibson in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish, hunt, working, and spending time with his friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his fathers, Virgil Gibson, Jr. and Arnold Ray Watson, wife, Thelma Gibson, daughter, Megan Gibson, and nephew, James Logan Ernie Vaughn.

He leaves behind to cherish his mother, Joann Gibson Watson (her companion, Donnie Vanover), brothers, Joe Vaughn (Beverly) of Whitley City, Ernie Vaughn (Amanda) of Whitley City, Jimmy Vaughn (his companion, Becky), nephews, William Vaughn, James Vaughn, Brandon Watters, Joe Vaughn, Jr. and special friend, Dag Terry. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
