Brent Willard Dobbs Jr, age 66, passed from this life on May 11, 2024 at Jean Waddle Care Hospice Center Somerset Ky.

Brent was born on August 31, 1957, in Somerset, Ky to Willard and Shirley Dobbs. He spent most of his life in Science Hill, Eubank and Somerset, Ky. He was loved and respected by those around him as he never met a stranger. His ability to talk and willingness to jump in and help anyone with anything, helped him to be a “Jack of all trades.” He could usually figure a way to rig up just about anything. He was just a “plain ole country boy” who never shied away from hard work. He loved working on farms, driving big equipment, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Linda Dobbs, two daughters Alisha (James) Owens, Crystal (David) Hall, Two Sons Michael Dobbs (Fiance` Jessica Ping) and Steven Dobbs. Three Grandsons: Caden (Brooklyn) Dobbs, Austin Hall and Brantley Hall, Four Granddaughters: Halynn Dobbs, Tiara Dobbs, Michelle Owens and Hailee Owens, and one brother: Terry Dobbs, as well as many other family and friends that he loved dearly.

Brent is preceded in death by his parents: Willard Dobbs and Shirley Dobbs and one greatly missed daughter Latasha Dobbs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral to begin at 1:00pm with Bro. Dustin York, Bro. Wallace Thornton and Speaker, David Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Science Hill Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements for Brent Willard Dobbs Jr.
