Bonnie Jean Stevenson

Bonnie Jean Stevenson, age 42 of Monticello, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, November 4, 2019 at the UK Health Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Bonnie was born to John Peterson and Corrie Overbeeke Peterson on July 6, 1977 in Indiana.

She was of the Baptist faith, she worked as a Somerset EMS, active with the Bronston Volunteer Fire Department for ten years, serving currently as a Treasurer and Lieutenant.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Corrie Peterson; husband, Scott Stevenson; sons, Matthew Stevenson; Christopher Stevenson (Taylor); daughter, Sierra Stevenson, all of Wayne County; sister, Dianne Ottinger (Jon) of Indiana; grandchildren, John Luke Thomas Stevenson and Paislee Grace Stevenson. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 7 P.M. with Bro. Ron Shaw officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bronston Volunteer Fire Department.
