Bobby Harper

Bobby Harper, age 88, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

Bobby was born on August 24, 1935 to the late Walter Harper and Martha Meadows Harper in

Lafayette, Tennessee.

He was an avid fox and coon hunter. He loved old time music, playing fiddles and reading the Bible. He was a retired construction worker. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Harper, his parents, Walter and Martha Harper, brothers, Obie Estes Harper, Joe Harper, Hollis Harper, Leslie (Buck) Harper, Albert Harper Sr., Billy Wayne Harper, sisters, Ossie King, Elizabeth Blankenship, Bessie Hauskins and Geneva Harper.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Terrell Harper of Somerset, Ky and his sister, Ida Belle Willis of Michigan.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 12-2pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12pm with Bro. Raymond Ridner and Bro. Rick Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Bobby Harper.
