Billy Clyde Hurt

Billy Clyde Hurt, age 86, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Signature Health Care in Jamestown, Tennessee.

He was born on August 18, 1934 in Monticello, Kentucky, the son of the late Larry Kennedy and Ida Beatrice Jones Hurt.

Billy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired self-employed truck driver who loved to travel and loved fast cars. He lived life to the fullest and more than anything, he loved and cherished his family. Billy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children, Margaret Sue Dailey, and a son, Tracy Hurt.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Hurt and Scotty Hurt, both of Monticello; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At his request, there will be no funeral service.
