Betty Jo Couch

Betty Jo Couch, age 85, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, May 18, 2020 at her home.

She was born on December 29, 1934 in Stearns, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leo and Jessie Bryant Burke. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed working in her garden and she loved her cat, Maria, whom she has had for the past twenty-one years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Couch, and her daughter Paula Rainey.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Couch of Somerset; and her daughters, Sharon Mitchell of Pensacola, Florida, Vickie (Mike) Howard of Somerset and Kimberly Couch of Burnside; one sister, Shirley Phillips of Stearns, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and also a life-long friend, Dawn Tripp of Somerset.

At her request there will be no funeral service.
