Benthe Bernitt (nee Wessberg) age 82, passed away on Sunday September 13, 2020. She was born in Viborg, Denmark June 7, 1938, coming to the U.S. in 1958. Longtime employee of Lake County East Hospital in Painesville, Ohio, she retired in 2002. Married for 32 years to Herman “Bud” Bernitt (deceased), they relocated to Somerset Kentucky in 2005 to enjoy their retirement years. Benthe leaves behind three sons, Philip Rozick (Gina), Stephen Rozick, and Robert Rozick (Min-Jin) and three grandchildren Benjamin, Brian, and Maddy. Private services were held in Somerset KY on Friday September 19th. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests donations to Somerset Nursing Home-Activity Dept. 106 Gover Street Somerset KY 42501.
