Barbara Jean Troxtel

Barbara Jean Troxtell, age 66, of Ferguson, Kentucky passed from this life to paradise on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Barbara was born in Amherst, Ohio on January 25, 1955. She attended South Amherst schools and graduated from South Amherst High School in 1973. Barbara worked for many years in retail and food service industries. Barbara was of the Baptist faith and loved Elvis, Christmas and trips to Tennessee with her mom and sister.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Troxtell; stepfather, Thomas Reynolds and father of her children, Mark E. Schrull.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Mark J. (Emily) Schrull of Medina, OH and George A. (Kim) Schrull of Amherst, OH; her beloved mother, Shirley Reynolds of Ferguson, Ky; dear sister, Betty F. (Gilbert) Bach of Somerset, Ky; brother, James Ralph (Brenda) Troxtell of LaGrange, OH; granddaughter, Haley Elizabeth Schrull; grandson, Jakob Schrull; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
