Anna Thomas-Gover

Anna was born March 5, 1933, in Morehead, KY to Willie C. Kelsey and Zona E. Brown.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and being a caregiver to all.  She was loved by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse of 41 years Carl S. Thomas; brothers John Kelsey, Earl Kelsey, Willie Kelsey, Homer Kelsey, Dale Kelsey and Lanny Kelsey.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory her current spouse Oakley P. Gover (Cooper Trail Senior Living – Bardstown); daughters Jane Thomas Smith, Cheryl T. Thompson (Jay), Ruth Ann Thomas (Kevin Meuth); brother Larry Kelsey; sisters Gail Chapman, Joann Bazell, Cheryl Lynn McDaniel, and Debbie Fannin; grand children Carl T. Smith (Kristen), Matthew T. Smith (Sandy), Justin Thompson, Cameron Thompson (Lexi), Ryan Smith (Areli), Allison Blair (Tyler) and Abbey Smith; great grandchildren Madison Oelhaffen, Brayden Smith, Nora Williams-Smith, Knox Smith, and Bianca Smith-Fernandez.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Visitation service will be at First Baptist Church in Somerset, KY at 10 AM.

Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church, in Somerset, KY at 12 PM.

Burial will be at Mill Springs Cemetery, in Nancy, KY.                  

Officiants will be Ryan Coffey, Bill Fort, and David Pendley.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
