Angela Anderson age 71, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Angela was born on July 8, 1951 to the late Eldred Anderson and Ruby Morton McCoy in Versailles, Kentucky.

She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her furbaby “Oliver”, tending to her flowers, shopping and cooking. She was a devoted friend and cherished her family.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Chris Gadberry of Somerset, Ky; daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Childress of Science Hill, Ky; brother, Ralph McCoy Jr. of Florence, Ky; grandchildren, she called her “Angel Babies”, Jessie Gadberry, Kami Childress and Keelah Ridner; along with like a daughter, Patricia Phelps and like a sister, Emma Jo Whitaker.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12 P.M. with Bro. Doug Popplewell officiating. Burial, will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Angela Anderson.
