Private graveside service will be held at Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Albert Spencer, age 73, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, January 31, 2022.

Albert was born April 9, 1948 to Wilbert Bill Spencer and Geneva Roy Spencer in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was of the Baptist faith, he enjoyed fishing and boating. Albert was a United Air Force Master Sergeant for 20 years and a Postal service worker for 15 years at Pulaski County Post Office. He cherished his family.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Geneva Spencer.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 49 years, Maryke Spencer; daughters, Lillian Spencer and Michelle Allen both of Somerset; son, Christopher Spencer of Somerset; brother, Ronald Spencer of Austin, TX; sister, Cloye Mills (Tom) of Mt. Vernon, Ky; grandchildren, Michael Hager, Nicole Hager, Spencer Allen, Jensen Lake Allen and great-granddaughter, Aubri Hager.

Private graveside service will be held at Mill Springs National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Somerset-Pulaski County Veterans Park at 606-425-5409.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Honor Guard Post #38. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Albert Spencer.
