Agnes Bowling

Agnes Bowling, age 91 of Middleburg, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2023 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on September 24, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio, daughter of the late Charlie and Hester Farmer Rosenbalm. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Shopville. She loved to crochet and was well known for her talent. She enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, especially Ralph Stanley. Agnes was also a special deputy for the Sheriff’s Department in Union County, Indiana and a member of Eastern Star for 55 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Bowling; brothers, Lawrence, Claude, Roy and Henry Rosenbalm; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Cecil Bowling of London, KY, Lester Bowling of Shopville, Randall (Brenda) Bowling of Somerset, Jim Bowling of McKee, KY, Lendell (Michelle) Bowling of Shopville and Keith (Tammy) Bowling of Middleburg, KY; brothers, Floyd Rosenbalm, Kenneth (Bobbi) Rosenbalm and Earl Rosenbalm; sisters, Doris Kolde and Iva Lewis; 24 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Bro. Isaiah Super officiating. Burial will be in the Renfro Cemetery.
