Ada F. Godsey

Ada F. Godsey, age 80, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, August 5, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Ada was born May 8, 1942 to Roscoe Roberts and Christine Hodge Roberts in Casey County, Kentucky.

She was of the Methodist faith and she enjoyed using Facebook, watching UK Basketball and sports. Most of all she cherished her grandchildren.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Christine Roberts, brother, Ferrell Roberts, sister, Janice Smith, grandchildren, Madison Lake and Kaitlin McKinney.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 56 years, Charles Godsey, son, Cory (Samantha) Godsey of Science Hill, Ky; daughters, Tammy Keith and Kristie (Kevin) Lake of Somerset, Ky; brother, Don Roberts of Science Hill, Ky; sisters, Mildred (Rodger) Clark, Gladys (Steve) Mcelyea, Donnie Roberts, Geneva (Jerry) Baugh, grandchildren, Jazzy Shadoan, Owen Godsey, Matthew Shadoan, Rachel Keith, Mantha (Seth) Lindsey, Olivia Lake; along with great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Martin, Bella Martin and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Science Hill, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ada F. Godsey Memorial Fund.
