Randall “Randy” Gene Burkett

Randall “Randy” Gene Burkett age 36, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, May 15, 2020 at the UK Hospital in Lexington.

Randy was born September 9, 1983 to Lewis Burkett and Sherry Haynes in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was owner and operator of Acorn signs and designs, he enjoyed music, hiking, biking, but most of all spending time with his kids and family.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Burkett. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Sherry Haynes Burkett (Ronald Gleason) of Somerset, wife, Sarah Burkett, sons, Liam Ryder, soon to be son, Isiah Randall Burkett, daughter, Emma Piercy, brother, Steven Burkett (Kristi Gage) and Skyler of Somerset.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 7:00 P.M. with Rusty Neikirk officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
