William Paul Watson

William Paul Watson age 85, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, April 17, 2024 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

William was born on April 22, 1938 to the late Beecher Watson and Bertha Flynn Watson in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was a member of Barnesburg Baptist Church and member of the Hillbilly Jeep Krew. He retired as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed golfing and hunting.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Watson, his parents, Beecher and Bertha Watson, son, Tim Watson, brother, Gary Watson and sister, Rubby Mills.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sons, Tracy Watson (May) of Georgia; Jason Watson (Angela) of Somerset, Ky; sister, Janette Burton of Somerset, Ky; grandchildren, Kylie Watson (Cameron Maynard), William Christian (Kay) Watson, Paul Anthony Watson, Brad Watson, Marion Watson, Aribelle Watson and great-grandchild, Kashton Maynard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Bro. Jordan Burks officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed to the Hill Billy Jeep Krew, 88 Sunflower Drive Somerset, Ky 42503.
