Miguel Alvarez Cruz, age 32, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Miguel was born on February 14, 1992 in Cuencame Durango, Mexico to Jose Ernest Alvarez Gonzalez and Veronica Cruz Salgado.

He was of the Catholic faith and attended Saint Mildred in Somerset. He was a self-employed engineer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, grilling out for his family, listening to music and loved to work with his Dad.

Miguel leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Gabriela Alvarez, his parents, Jose Gonzalez and Veronica Salgado, his son, Manuel Alvarez, daughter, Jacqueline Alvarez and brothers, Luis Fernando Alvarez Cruz and Jose Ernesto Alvarez Cruz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Miguel Alvarez Cruz.
