James “Jimmy” Sprinkles

James “Jimmy” Sprinkles age 74, of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Jimmy was born on August 5, 1949 to the late Leroy Sprinkles and Nona Thompson Sprinkles in Stanford, Kentucky.

First and foremost, he loved God. He was a member of Jordan Baptist Church. He was a First Degree Mason. He loved his farm, he enjoyed collecting and selling antiques, ice cream at the Flea Market, watching old westerns.

Jimmy was preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Nona Sprinkles, brothers, Arnold and Charles Sprinkles, sisters, Judy Kay Hobbs and Joann Robertson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years, Cindy Sprinkles, sons, James Sprinkles Jr. (Bonnie) of Cincinnati, OH; Charles Sprinkles and Josh Hobbs both of Somerset, Ky; daughter, Tonya Sprinkles of Somerset, Ky; brother, Roy Sprinkles (Mildred) of Cincinnati, OH; a special sister in law, Ann Wesley (Raymond) and special niece, Hannah Wesley; grandchildren, Amy Sprinkles, Kara, Andrew and Aaron Cummins, Hope Sadler, great-grandchildren, Natlee, Gracie, Ivory, Lillian, Baby Cummins on the way; along with several nieces nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 12pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2pm with Bro. Billy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the James Sprinkles Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
