Frankie D. Ramsey, AKA “Cooter” age 67, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Frankie was born on October 29, 1956 to the late Willie Ramsey and Pauline Godby Ramsey in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, running heavy equipment, and mechanic work. Above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Pauline Ramsey and a brother, Paul Ramsey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Christina Ramsey Devlin and Jaime Alexander (Steven) of Somerset, Ky; brothers, Mike Ramsey (Donna), Doug Ramsey (Sandra) of Somerset, Ky; sister, Debbie Sears (Virgil) also of Somerset, Ky; grandchildren, Grace Frantz, Jackson Price, Carter Price, Maverick Alexander, Peyton Davidson, Elijah Davidson, Finn Devlin, Zachary Wesley, Katelynn Wesley, Christian Wesley and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 11am-1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Frankie D. Ramsey Memorial Fund C/O of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
