Robert Lewis Darnell, age 46 of Bronston, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born on September 26, 1977 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of William and Barbara Walden Darnell.

He fiercely loved his children, and would help anyone in need, he had a huge heart. He loved watching hockey and playing soccer. He had an affinity for nice clothes and nice cars. He loved going to Cincinnati. That was his city of choice. He also, loved nature, animals and going to Cades Cove. He was a true gentleman, one of the few left and would put a woman first and open doors for her, pick wildflowers for her, make coffee for her.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul Darnell and Naomi Darnell; and maternal grandparents, Arvis and Gertude Walden.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Barbara Darnell of Bronston; 2 sons, Kyle Darnell of Louisville, KY, Adam Darnell of Hamilton, OH; 1 daughter, Bailey Darnell of Hamilton, OH; 1 brother, Matthew Darnell of Bronston; a special friend, Lori Schmidt of Maryville, TN and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private family service will be held at a later date.
