Bettye Boldra

Bettye Boldra age 80 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Bettye was born on January 6, 1943 to the late Lewis Wilson and Dorothy Hansford Wilson in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, knitting, making gifts for others, singing and disco. She loved to make others laugh and making new friends. Most of all she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and fur baby “Bella”.

Bettye was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale Boldra, her parents, Lewis and Dorothy Wilson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Thomas Ferrell (Lynnett) of Somerset, Ky; along with grandchildren, Quinton Ferrell of Somerset, Ky and Dylan Ferrell of Georgetown, Ky.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 11am to 1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Bettye Boldra.
