Steven Lee Nichols age 65, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his home.

Steve was born on February 8, 1958 to Clinton Nichols and Carol Nichols in Glendale, Arizona.

He was a member of Life Church. He formerly worked as a Lake Cumberland EMS for 1 ½ year, Tecumseh for 27 years, Better Business Bureau and at Flav-O-Rich. He enjoyed skiing, playing chess, gardening, mowing, spending time outdoors and spending time with his grandbabies.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Carol Nichols and a sister, Brenda Nichols. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 44 years, Yvonne Nichols, son, Brian Nichols (Lydea), daughter, Sara Wood (Brandon), brothers, Don Nichols (Molly), Larry Nichols (Fran), Kenny Nichols (Cheryl) all of Somerset, Ky; grandchildren, Payton Wood, Liam Wood, Liam Nichols, Avery Wood, Owen Nichols, and Elizabeth Wood; along with a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 11am-12pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12pm with Bro. Isaiah Super officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Steven Lee Nichols.
