Betty Jo Soard 84 of Somerset, passed away Sunday November 5, 2023, born September 5, 1939, to the late Pat Parsons and Elizabeth St Aubin.

Betty was married to the late James (Tittle) Soard, she was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Janie Thomaston and husband David, sons Donald and Ronnie Soard, a sister Faye Parsons and infant daughter, Rebecca Soard.

Betty is survived by a son Bobby (Pam) Soard, Roger (Debbie) Soard, sister Marjorie Kemper, grandkids, Doug (Robin) Thomaston, little David (Deborah) Thomaston, Debbie Thompson, Libby (Gary) Akins, Shawna Wallen, Roger Soard, Ashley Soard & (Robbie), Cassie (Michael) Dixon, Whil (Pepper) Soard, a step grandson Doug Dykes, 10 great grandkids, 1step grand-daughter, 1 great-great grandson due in December 2023.

She was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed working on her farm, taking care of her cows. She liked to shop and spend time with her family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10am-12pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral to begin at 12pm with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Somerset City Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Betty Jo Soard.
