Joe T. Isaacs

A private family service was held

Joe T. Isaacs, age 91 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Joe was born on April 29, 1932, son of the late Hugh and Ruth (Avera) Isaacs. Joe was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, retired from Ky Dept. of Transportation and was a lifelong farmer.

Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Roberta Epperson Isaacs, whom he married on September 12, 1953, children, Harold (Patti) Isaacs, Beverly (George) Gill, Kenneth (Joan) Isaacs, Karen (Robert) Owens, Rebecca (Chris) Foreman, along with 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Barbara Meece, Eleanor Helton, and David Isaacs.

As per Joe’s wishes, a private family service was held on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
