Michael E. Silvers (Dees)

Michael E. Silvers (Dees), age 48, of Somerset, Ky, passed away at his office at Help the Homeless where he was a manager.

Michael was born on April 14, 1975 to Michael “Quick” Silvers and Juanita Shaw Owens in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

He enjoyed fishing, helping others in need, and was always lending a helping hand. He worked on cars and enjoyed listening to music. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Carroll and a special deceased uncle, Dillard Silvers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Michael “Quick” Silvers and Juanita Owens, his sons, Dakota Silvers (Natasha) of Somerset, Ky; Jacob Silvers (Kaylee) of Somerset, Ky; Patrick Carroll of Cleveland, TN; brothers, Jimmy Owens of KS, William Owens Jr. of MO; sister, Stephanie Owens of ID; grandchildren, Bentley Silvers, Ryan Silvers Carson Silvers and Baby Carter; mother of his children, Beckie Livingston, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and best friend, Tina Meece. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Help the Homeless in Somerset, Ky on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 4-6 Pm. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Michael E. Silvers (Dees).
