Nancy Lee Cunningham

Nancy Lee Cunningham, 75, a resident of Friendswood, TX since 1983 formerly Bronston KY, and Jeffersonville IN passed away May 12, 2023 in Friendswood, TX. Nancy was born in Bronston KY on October 13, 1947. Soon after completing high school, she arrived in Jeffersonville. While caring for her two children, she successfully managed a cake baking, decorating, and delivery service. After moving to Friendswood TX, she worked for Kroger in Friendswood, which led her to Rockwell in Clear Lake and then (USA) United Space Alliance in Clear Lake. This challenging career led her to travel and mingle with some of the smartest people in the world. It was no secret with Nancy and her personality the kinds of long-lasting friendships she developed. After retirement in 2011, her grandchildren were her life and she loved spending time with them doing all kinds of activities. Her passion for non-work activities included cooking, shopping, collecting unique dish sets, shopping, tending to her prize roses, shopping, and interior design. Nancy was a proud member of Calvary Church in Friendswood, TX.

She reunites with her husband Jerry Cunningham; parents, Otis and Evelyn Keith; sister, Betty Sue Keith; and brother, Jeffrey Keith.

Nancy leaves behind her daughter, Karen Hawkins; son, Sean Cunningham, his wife Rae Lynn; grandchildren: Addison Rae Cunningham, and Brett Nicholas Cunningham; sister, Jennifer Keith.

A visitation will be held on from 12:00 to 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks funeral home at 2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503.

Burial services will be held @3:00 p.m. at Jacob Mayfield Cemetery 911 Nicholas Rd. Bronston, KY 42518.
