Kevin Thompson, age 37, of Florence, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Kevin was born on June 19, 1985 to Donald W. Thompson and Norma Hughes Thompson in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed guns, four wheeling and the outdoors.

Kevin was preceded in death by his son, Cash Carter Thompson, grandparents, William and Elsie Thompson and Luther and Marie Hughes.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Donald and Norma Thompson, mother of children, Charnelle Jalensie Evans, his sons, Deandre Thompson and Elijah Evans both of Florence, Ky; daughter, Deanna Carol Thompson, brother, Brian Thompson of Florence, Ky; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. with Bro. Rufus Hughes, Bro. Barry Vaught and Bro. John Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in McCreary County, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Jack Reynolds Jr., Travis Reynolds, Jared Reynolds, Paul Reinersman, Ehren Hughes and Seath Blakley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Liver Foundation.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Kevin Thompson.
