Nina McQueary

Nina McQueary, age 73 of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
She was born on April 3, 1949 in Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late James and Evelyn Taylor Wilson. Nina had worked at Fruit of the Loom and Russell Sports Ware and most recently she had worked as a cook at Eli Country Store. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family, and absolutely loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandbabies. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aldon McQueary; brothers, David, Brad, Wayne and Ricky Wilson and Marvin Tucker; and a sister, Wynova Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, Mike (Vickie) McQueary of Somerset and Junior McQueary of Russell Springs; same as a daughter but her granddaughter, Lecora McQueary (Ryan), brothers, James and Pam, Jimmy and Pat, and Joe and Linda, sisters, Arlene and Lee, Cleda, Betty and Jim, Karen and Gene, and Darlene and Lewis; grandchildren, Michael “Seth” McQueary (Punkin), Megan Noelle Jones and Aldon Christian McQueary; and great grandkids, Brayden Michael McQueary and Ashton Taylor Evans; and a host of nieces and nephews who were like my babies “Cry less and pray more” by Nina McQueary.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Mt Union Cemetery with Bro. Paul Hart officiating.
