Briana “B.B.” Cook, age 28, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Briana was born on February 17, 1994 to Raymond Burton and Shelia Girdler in Somerset, Kentucky.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, everything outdoors, she loved music and dancing. Most of all she cherished her family.

Briana was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Burton. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Shelia Girdler and mom, Amy Burton; her husband, Brad Cook; son, JessieRay James Cook; daughter, FayeLynn Marie Cook; brother, Randy (Fleasha) Burton of Greensburg, Ky; sisters, Amanda (Timothy) Leslie of Milton, FL; Alexis Burton of Milton, FL; Destiny (A.J.) Cardenas of Spring Branch, TX; Brianna (Ricky) Torres of Campbellsville, Ky.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 12 to 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Nathan Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Briana Cook Memorial Fund. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Briana “B.B” Cook.
