Joseph “Joe” Hooper, age 72, of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home.

Joe was born September 29, 1950 to Herb Hooper and Anna Patterson Hiera in Harlan, Kentucky.

He enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Hooper and a brother, Joseph Bryant.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Wanda Raymer Hooper; son, Kelly (Megan) Hooper of Burnside, Ky; brothers, David Burchfield of Somerset, Ky; Charles Hooper of Somerset, Ky; Glen Hooper of Nancy, Ky; John Hooper of CA; sister, Lucy Hooper of TN; grandchildren, Noah Hooper, Kenneth Hooper, Christian Jones and Rachel Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 12 to 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. Burial will follow in Grave Hill Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Joseph “Joe” Hooper.
