Ryan Douglas Mink, age 33 of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at UK Healthcare in Lexington.

He was born on March 25, 1989 in Somerset, Kentucky, the son of Douglas Mink and Jennifer Phillips Brashears.

Ryan was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed mechanic and carpentry work. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by grandparents; Charles and Bertha Phillips, and Verl Mink.

He is survived by his father; Douglas Mink of Monticello, his mother; Jennifer Brashears of Science Hill, sisters; Raesha Mink and Katlynn Phillips, grandmother; Berna Dean Bray of Harrison, OH, niece; Leah West, uncles; Allen Mink, Loren Mink and Darrell Mink all of Harrison, OH and Jeff (Angela) Phillips of Monticello, and his aunt Sandra Mink of Somerset.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Bro. Richie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Sloans Valley Cemetery.
