Claude Douglas Worley

Claude Douglas Worley, age 62, of Monticello, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Wayne County Hospital.

Doug was born July 2, 1960 to Bill John Worley and Bessie Bolin Worley in Cedar Grove, Kentucky.

He was a member of Quinton Baptist Church and he enjoyed singing, going to Church and spending time with his family and grandkids. He loved to make people laugh.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Bessie Worley, brothers, Billy Worley, Robert Worley, John Worley, Donald Worley, sisters, Georgia Carrender, Janice Worley, Brenda Worley and Nettie Worley, an infant brother and granddaughter, Madison Gill.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Dora Mae Worley, son, Steven Worley of Monticello, Ky; daughter, Nikie Worley (Elizabeth Morgan) of Monticello, Ky; sister, Linda Nevels of Bronston, Ky; Florence Walters (Donald Bell) of Wayne County, Ky; Thelma Lewis of Chicago; Barbara Worley of Somerset, Ky; sister-in-law, Rosa Jackson; along with grandchildren, Evan Gill, Keagan Gill, Isaiah Roberts and Jaxson Dean.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 6 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Jack Stallsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Grave Hill Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Claude Douglas Worley.
