Zella Lee Loveless

Zella Lee Loveless, age 88, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on February 4, 1934 in East Somerset, daughter of the late Beecher Harper and Hettie Russell Harper Buchanan. She was a homemaker and a member of Heritage Hope Church of God. She was very active at her church, and enjoyed working puzzle books and watching gameshows. Most of all she loved and cherished her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie C. Loveless; son, Ronald Lee Loveless; brother, Everett Harper; and sisters, Gladys Taylor, Stella Sears, Louise Petrey, Mary Luttrell, Beatrice Hall and Serena Mae Luttrell.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Eugene (Tressia) Loveless of Somerset, Lawrence Paul (Theresa) Loveless of Somerset and Jackie Ray (Tammy) Loveless of Somerset; daughters, Lesia (Garry) Tilley of Science Hill and Teresa Loveless of Somerset; brother, Melvin Harper of Fredricksburg, VA; sister, Shirley Boyd of Indianapolis, IN; daughter-in-law, Martha Jane Loveless of Somerset; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral service to be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
