Laura J. Campbell, age 51, of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, July 25, 2022 at Russell County Hospital.

Laura was born on March 1, 1971 to Phillip Burks and Barbara Carpenter in Franklin, Indiana.

She enjoyed making candy, especially peanut butter fudge, listening to 80’s and 90’s music and watching her favorite TV show, Rescue 911. She cherished being a memaw.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Burks and Barbara Carpenter and brother, Daniel Burks. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Daniel Duke of Franklin, IN and Timothy Campbell of Russell Springs, Ky; daughters, Ashley Campbell of Russell Springs, Ky and Lisa (John) Prosser of Glasgow, Ky; brothers, David (Janet) Burks of Franklin, IN and Kevin Burks of Russell Springs, Ky; sisters, Mary Burks of Edinburgh, IN and Tonya Grider of Franklin, IN; stepmother, Bobbie Burks of Russell Springs, Ky; along with her granddaughter, Kayleonah Walls.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10 A.M. at Bethesda Community Fellowship in Russell Springs, Ky. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Laura J. Campbell
