Molly Rain Petrie, age 20, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Molly was born July 26, 2001 to Tony Petrie and Michelle Cooper Crane in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

She attended Parker’s Mill Baptist Church and she enjoyed fishing, traveling, clothes, collecting her crocs, telling bad jokes, the outdoors, movies, reading, dancing, music and singing. Molly was a caring, hardworking, strong person and a “country girl”. She loved her family and friends.

Molly was preceded in death by her grandfather, Floyd Douglas Crane Sr. and brother, Brandon Henry.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her father, Tony (Debbie) Petrie, her mother, Michelle (Aaron) Crane, grandparents, Bobbie (Charles) Berry of Somerset, Ky; Michael (Carol) Cooper of TN; grandmother, Carla Crane of Houston, TX; brothers, Ryan Petrie of Somerset, Ky; Keane Cooper of Somerset, Ky; Nicholas Petrie of AL; sister, Teryn Smith of Ky; uncles, Tommy Schueler of Jabez, Ky; Scott Stupprich of Cincinnati, OH; John Baker of Cincinnati, OH; aunts, Cheryl Stupprich of Cincinnati, OH; Kelly Cooper of Cincinnati, OH and nephew, Aiden Baker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 3 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Darry Hatfield and Bro. Mark Brumfield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Molly Rain Petrie Memorial Fund.
