Edmond Wayne Jones, age, 67 of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Jean Waddle Care Center.

Edmond was born November 11, 1954 to Dewey Jones and Charline Wilson Jones in Detroit, Michigan.

He was of the Baptist faith and liked to hunt, four wheeling, sight seeing and shooting guns. He loved family cookouts.

Edmond was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Charline Jones, sisters, Alta Kay Jones and Anna Lee McKee, brother-in-law, Stanley Theisen Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his partner of 16 years, Linda Mullins; daughter, Miranda Howe of Haysville, KS; granddaughter, Breanna (Austin) Rodriguez of Haysville, KS; great-grandchildren, Ava, Asher, Abel and Alex Rodriguez.; sister, Betty (Gary) Boyd of MI and Deborah Jones-Theisen of Somerset, Ky; brother-in-law, Sherrill McKee; Linda’s children, Jason Mullins, Melissa Boling and Jennifer Boling.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery in Keno, Kentucky. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Edmond Jones.
