Mary R. Higgins

Mary R. Higgins, age 48, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Mary was born May 21, 1973 to James Higgins and Nancy Simpson Higgins in Somerset, Kentucky.

She enjoyed watching, Dukes of Hazzard, Hee Haw and listening to country music. She enjoyed taking care of her cats.

Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delma and Edna Simpson and Mack and Beulah Higgins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, James and Nancy Higgins and a host of family that will miss her.

Visitation will be held of Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow in Rainey Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Mary R. Higgins.
