Anna F. Durham, 88, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Avera Dougherty Hospice, Sioux Falls, SD.
Private Family Service will be held at Miller Funeral Home-Westside Chapel, 6200 W. 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD with burial at Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, KY next to her husband, James.
Anna Fay Deaton, daughter of Irvine and Phoebe (Combs) Deaton, was born September 13, 1933 at Newport, KY. She grew up in Hazard, KY.
She was united in marriage with James Durham on October 9, 1958 in Newport, KY. They resided in Cincinnati, OH and were blessed with two children, Timothy and Karen. In 1962, they moved with Jim’s career to Cocoa, FL, in 1974 they moved to Greenville, NC. In 1977 they moved to Springfield, VA. In 2008 they moved to Sioux Falls where they have resided since. Jim passed away on February 21, 2021.
They were members of First Evangelical Free Church in Sioux Falls, SD. She loved being with family and treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They enjoyed times with friends, and traveling with family.
Grateful for having shared her life are her two children, Timothy (Priscilla) Durham, Sioux Falls, SD, and Karen (Barry) Roy, Windsor, KY; two grandchildren, Nicole (Charles) Wyatt, and their children, William Wyatt and Daisy Wyatt, Britt, IA; Vanessa (Kevin) Clements, and their children, Victoria Clements and Jordan Clements, Windsor, KY; and several other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; a son, Joseph Booth; three brothers, Harold, Samuel and John Deaton; and a sister, Betty.
