Lois C. Roberts

Lois C. Roberts, age 83, of Bronston, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her home.

Lois was born October 29, 1938 to Roscoe Bolin and Pearl Griffis Bolin in McCreary County, Kentucky.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Monticello, Ky and was former co-owner and operator of Cross Roads Groceries in Touristville, Ky and American Way Boat Storage in Bronston, Ky. Lois enjoyed cooking and spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Pearl Bolin; her husband, Howard Roberts; daughter, Reba Lewis; brothers, Gene Bolin, Estle Bolin, Loyd Cresal Bolin and son-in-law, Benny Dobbs Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Delynn Gibson (Brandy) of Somerset; daughter, Carol Dobbs of Angier, NC; brother, Gerald Bolin (Susie) of McCreary Co., Ky; grandchildren, Justin Smith, Dustin Smith, Heather Whittington (David), Cody Gibson (Trista), Charlie Ball, Melody Jones, numerous great-grandchildren and loving family friends, Sharon Cox and Juan Pottin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral to begin at 1 P.M. with Bro. Daniel Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lake Cumberland Hospice (hospicelc.org) and Gideon Memorial Bibles. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Lois C. Roberts.
