William Sloan

In accordance with William’s wishes there will be no services at this time.

William Sloan, age 72, of Monticello, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, January 14, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

William was born October 13, 1949 to Obie Sloan and Ada Garrett Sloan in Monticello, Kentucky.

He enjoyed being outside and loved visiting with his friends. William loved being home and taking care of his yard and home.

William was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Kenneth Sloan, sister, Minnie L. Stigall. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Makeda Sloan; brothers, Johnny Sloan, James Edward Sloan (Lorene), Terry Sloan, Andy Sloan (Dutchess), Wayne Sloan, all of Monticello; sisters, Nina Mae Cowan, Jo Sloan and Mary Ann Venable of Monticello; grandchildren, Brandon, Henderson, Javon Wofford, Kalup Cowan, Jaleel Cowan, A’Kedra Law and Keyonna Clemons. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

In accordance with William’s wishes there will be no services at this time. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for William Sloan.
