Gerald Sims

In accordance with Gerald’s wishes there will be no services.

Gerald Sims, age 70, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Gerald was born March 22, 1951 to Homer Sims and Gertrude Whitis Sims in Somerset, Kentucky.

He enjoyed hunting, visiting with friends, going to the flea market, but most of all cherished his family.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Gertrude Sims; his wife, Vickie Sims; brother, Donnie Sims and sister, Beverly McClure. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Anthony Sims of Somerset; daughter, Ashley Sims of Somerset; sister, Edna Bullock of Somerset; and grandchildren, Tyler Sims, Aiden Sims and Dade Sims.

In accordance with Gerald’s wishes there will be no services. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Gerald Sims.
