Deborah Anderson Hood, age 67, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home.

Deborah was born February 10, 1954 to Arvil Bea Anderson and Gertrude Florence Childers Anderson in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was a member of Cross Connections Church. Deborah loved going to church, singing, going out to eat, shopping and watching her favorite television shows. She loved her fur babies, “Ragu” and “Jethro”, most of all she cherished her family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Arvil and Gertrude Anderson; husband, Bobby Hood and son, Shane Sidwell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Scott Sidwell of Somerset, Ky and sister, Vickie Stigall (Jimmy) of Somerset, Ky; uncle Tommy and Aunt Sandra Newell; stepchildren, Chan and Vicky Hood; Shannon and Shelia Hood; Mike and Sonya King; step-grandchildren, Alex and Bryan Hood and Madison King; nieces, Joyce (Derrick) Sears; Jeanne (Warren) Simpson; great-nieces, Natalie Sears, Emma Sears, Jessica Simpson Agee, Megan Simpson; along with special friends, Melinda and Judy.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 1 to 3 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 3 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Brian Sawyers officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
